Easy Homemade Sour Cream

Ingredients
  

  • 150 g Fresh Cream
  • 25 g Labneh
  • 1 g Salt
  • 20 g Lemon juice

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, pour the whipping cream and add a pinch of salt and the tablespoon of labneh.
  2. Start whisking the ingredients using an electric hand mixer on low speed.
  3. Once the mixture begins to thicken slightly, add the lemon juice and continue whisking.
  4. Keep whisking until the texture becomes thick and firm.
  5. Transfer the sour cream into a bowl and place it in the refrigerator to allow it to chill and firm up further.
  6. Serve it in a small dish alongside nachos, tortillas, quesadillas, or any Mexican dish.
  7. You can garnish it with chopped green onions or fresh cilantro.
